We offer you a variety of breakfast classics presented in a Bistro Revelin style. Enjoy the most important meal of the day with hand picked products from the local farmers market.
In the world when brunching has never been more popular and trendy we embraced it with the serious notion. In bistro it is a tradition, because we cultivate it. Fish and chips with delightful dippings, hamburger or light salads, prepared with care, are distinguished by the receipt concept as well as with the presentation.
Apart of the great food, fine wine list we have a location. Fusion of these three creates a unique romantic atmosphere that enchants.
A relaxed gourmet heaven at the Ploče gate, the Eastern entrance to the Old Town, welcomes you from the earliest hours. “It is never too early or too late when it comes to eating” says the Chef. If you “rise and shine” while the City is waking up drop by the Bistro for the best breakfast in the City. It is the best for a good reason: whether you give it a go with “the breakfast with Audrey” or some of the gourmet breakfast classics, you can hardly go wrong. In case you danced your night away it will be just about the right time for brunch, or lunch.
Too make a long story short, it is always the right time for bistro Revelin before or after hitting the beach or clubs; they are there to serve you from 09:00 AM till 11:00 PM.
Having walked old Dubrovnik on our self-guided tour we find ourselves outside the Ploče gate, the Eastern entrance to the Old Town ready for some coffee and treats under this magnificent tree with the picturesque view of the harbor below. The staff was friendly enough, the coffee was hot and so were our snacks. The other guests are either into themselves or their own conversations that do not bother us as we continue absorbing this perfect atmosphere that has to be experienced. For the romantic types there was more than enough to go around several times which did not bother the 20 month olds playing under the chairs and table. Come and experience it for yourselves.
We spotted this place after a walk around the city walls. Located just beyond the walls, the prices seemed much more reasonable than the ‘name’ restaurants within the city. We ate at 8 – no starter but straight in to the homemade ravioli with Adriatic crab. Beautifully prepared and cooked. To conclude, a Croatian chessboard to share. Again, top presentation with nuts and relishes. There’s a 15kr cover charge but for that you get a decent bread basket, olives, and a Croatian digestif that really hit the spot. Service was prompt, cheerful, and made you feel that you were genuinely welcome and valued. And the view across the marina to the city walls was first class. With drinks came in at just under 500kr. Thoroughly recommended.
As a restauranteur myself I could not ask for more great setting overlooking the port very efficent and professional staff and food to die for. Goose Liver Terrine was five star as was my main of Confit of Duck with homemade pasta. Truly did not expect the level of service and food we received how this place is not in the top 3 in Dubrovnik l do not know but l am sure it will be. Thank you for a special night, we are coming back to sample breakfast.
